How awesome is this guy?
I've been lucky enough to know Mayor Shields for several years. He's an all-round great guy. On Aug. 20, 2014, he attended the BCIS annual Open House event as a dignitary. However, he didn't realize he would also be an active participant in the ALS Ice Bucket challenge!
Mayor Shields has already donated to the cause, so he didn't really have to go 'under the bucket.' However, as all things viral on the internet go, he also agreed to participate in the - shall we say "more visual" - component of this charitable notion.
Thanks to Martin for his support of ALS research through this challenge, and for all he does for the City of Brooks!
Here is Mohammed accepting the challenge....and issuing others!
Here's another important question to consider: what the heck should I wear for our shoot?
Everyone in all black/white shirts? Everyone matching? Plaid? Stripes?
This can be a frustrating thing to coordinate....or something that is quite fun. I ran across this blog post that provides some great ideas.
One of the biggest tips is to consider the background. Are the colours bright, neutral or dark? Will we be indoors or in one of the many fine outdoor locations that RyKie Photography can track down?
Hope this post helps you consider what to wear - or leave in the closet - for our next shoot!
